Why is this free? What are you getting out of it?
Great question. You don’t know me, but I would like you to get to know me. I have a lot more courses other than this one that come with a site membership but instead of trying to sell you that, I want to show you the value by giving you this one for free. Whether you’re skeptical about learning an instrument through an online course or you just don’t think it’s going to be that good, that’s fair. But it’s free, you have nothing to lose, so all I ask is that you try it. If the course doesn’t do it for you, I appreciate you checking it out. If the course does do it for you and you want to check out the other courses, memberships come with a free two week trial and are $29.99 a month after that. The opportunity to show you the value of my courses is what I’m getting out of this, that’s why this is free.

How can an online course possibly compete with one-on-one lessons?
I grew up taking one-on-one lessons and have been teaching them professionally since 2011. They obviously work, but I've found that progress can be slow- students often forget things during the week and need me to take them through the same things again in following lessons until they stick. This is a normal part of the learning process but since lessons are usually just once a week, it slows things down significantly. Online courses give you access to the actual lesson whenever you need it, ensuring that you practice the correct things the correct way every time you practice.

Ok, but what if I have a question or want some feedback on what I'm working on?
As your teacher, I'm accessible to you! Every course has a discussion board where you can ask me questions or leave advice for other students, and if that's not enough you can send me an email. Or you can book a single private lesson where we can go over any questions that you might have. The courses are very thorough though and chances are that any questions you might have are already answered in them.

Will I ever lose access to this free course?
Nope! Even after you've finished it you can always come back to it if you need to review anything. The same goes for the Song Of The Month lessons which you'll also be enrolled in once I see that you've enrolled in the free course.
